TG Handyman London recently completed a decorative metal fencing installation at a residential property in London. The project added a defined boundary around the garden using black metal panels with an open patterned design.
This project required the fencing sections to be set out around the existing outdoor space, joined into a continuous run, and secured in their final positions.
Project at a Glance
The installation used multiple decorative metal fencing sections across the garden, including a taller arched section visible within the finished layout.
The existing lawn, planting and surrounding garden features remained in place during the work, so the fencing had to be fitted around the established outdoor setting.

Setting Out the Fence Line
Before the installation could take shape, the individual sections had to be positioned along the intended route.
The footage shows the panels being arranged across different parts of the garden. Setting out the sections in sequence allowed the fence line to follow the available space and established where adjoining panels would meet.
Joining and Securing the Metal Panels
With the layout established, the individual metal sections were connected and secured.
Consistency between adjoining panels was particularly important because the diagonal pattern continues across the fence. Keeping the sections in line gives the installation a more unified appearance when viewed across the garden.
The taller arched section introduces a change in height and shape within the otherwise continuous run of fencing.
Details of the Fence Design
The installed fencing has a black finish with diagonal metalwork, curved upper details and an open construction.
These design elements are clearly visible in the close-up footage. Against the greenery of the garden, the dark metalwork creates contrast without using a solid panel between the different areas.
The Garden After Installation
The final footage provides a wider view of the completed job.
Instead of changing the existing landscaping, the new installation works around it. The lawn and planting remain visible, while the new fence line introduces a clearly identifiable division within the outdoor space.
The combination of straight panel runs and the taller arched section also gives the finished installation more visual variation than a single uniform fence line.
